It is the patient’s responsibility to contact the surgery to obtain test results.
Please phone the surgery between 130pm and 630pm for the results of any tests. You must allow enough time for the results to come back and be processed (usually one week) before telephoning us. Please note that we can only give results to the patient or to the parents of minors. The Patient Services Advisor (receptionist) is not qualified to discuss your results. She/he can only pass on to you the message recorded on your results by the doctor.
It is important we have your correct telephone number (home/mobile). You can update your contact details using our Online Services.
Don't forget, you can sign up to the online access where your results will be available for you to see 24 hours/day 7 days/week.
Further to recent issues with our phone system, it has been agreed to trial our telephone results line being available from 1.30pm to 6.30pm.
